This Privacy Policy describes how TurboWit ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our applications and services, including CacheRecord and RetroSpecAna.
Location Data (GPS)
CacheRecord uses your device's GPS to record driving routes. Location data is processed on your device and, when you choose to save a log, stored in our database associated with your account. We do not collect location data in the background without your explicit action to start recording.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address for authentication purposes. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily provide it.
Usage Data
We may collect basic usage information such as app version, device type, and error logs to improve our services. This data is anonymized and does not personally identify you.
Microphone / Audio
RetroSpecAna accesses your device's microphone solely to perform real-time audio spectrum analysis. Audio is processed locally on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database service hosted in the Tokyo region. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
Guest mode data (when you use CacheRecord without signing in) is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers.

Our web applications use localStorage to store your preferences (such as language settings) and session data locally on your device. We may also use cookies for authentication purposes. These are essential for the app to function and cannot be disabled.
Your account and associated data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at hello@turbowit.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
